The story of Le Mas de So began when Stéphane fell in love at first sight with an authentic XIXth century Provençal farmhouse (mas in French) which had been abandoned. Four years of work later, and this superb property had reclaimed its noble status. The owner wanted this colossal project to be architecturally contemporary but in a way that respected the spirit of the place.
It all began in 2002, when Stéphane and Sonia were looking for a Provence-style farmhouse while on holiday in the region.
These were the thoughts guiding Stéphane, the founder and manager of the Mas. Just one visit, and it was like a revelation: an old agricultural complex in ruins. Stéphane saw it is a sign of destiny. The small country house was very soon transformed…

Bambou, Bleue, Lavande, Galante, Vanille, Cannelle and Jasmin: each room has its own olfactory identity and its colour, where all our guests can relax and re-energise. They all have en suite toilets with showers, as well as all the necessary amenities. Each space can be set to its own temperature by asking our “House Angel”.
In addition to these rooms, our guests can also stay on the property in superb, chic tepees or with one of our partner hotels and guesthouses located nearby.
